OMSI

During John's Spring Break, we went to Oregon to visit family and we took Zora to OMSI (Portland's museum). Here's a few pics. First we went throught the Da Vinci exhibit:

Then we took Zora to the kid's museum where she played in water.
Then we took her over to the sand section. We didn't plan very well! Water and sand sure make a mess.
She loved the big goldfish more than anything else.
This is a tower she and John built together. She couldn't reach much higher.
Zora is creating something out of slime.

Zora takes after her dad!

So Zora made me laugh pretty hard the other day. We were both on chairs in the dining room when I heard Zora make a tiny fart. I reacted by saying Zora in a stern voice and giving her a serious shocked look as if I couldn't believe she done that. She pauses for a minute as if she has done something wrong and then in a high-pitched adorable Zora voice, she says, "POO POO!" I thought it was so funny that I couldn't keep a straight face anymore and started laughing. The things they pick up on!

In addition to this, another day, we were having Family Home Evening. We were playing a game with some pictures of the family and our cat. Of course she wanted to look at all the cat pictures and kept saying "kitty" and "meow." Then she pointed at John and said, "Meow." And out of the blue, she turns to me, points her finger directly at my nose and says, "Moo!" which is another of her favorite words. I guess that means I'm resembling a cow more and more with this pregnancy.

Birthday Fun

Lori, Larry, and Lucy came to visit for my birthday. Zora loved seeing them again. Here's the birthday cake!

What Zora's been up to lately!

So this is what Zora's been up to-She's definitely keeping us busy!We had fun making cookies together.
She climbs on everything. This is her latest trick!
I learned you never leave a toddler alone for a few minutes with a blueberry smoothie. It's more fun to smear than drink.

The Ultrasound

So December 1, we had our ultrasound to find out our baby's gender. John was really counting on getting a boy this time, but he didn't get his wish. Of course, he's very excited to have another little girl and it will be perfect for Zora to have a little friend to play with and share her stuff. I'm just happy we won't have to go out and get a whole new wardrobe for our baby. It looks like John is going to have a house full of girls. The due date is April 21st and everything looks good with our baby!

Zora and SANTA CLAUS

December 6, a group of us with our kids went to see Santa Claus. One kid slept through all the excitement, but another little boy who is just shy of 2 years old went before Zora. I thought that would prepare her for what was coming, but the boy wasn't too happy to sit in Santa's lap. So of course, when Zora got her turn, she was even more intimidated. She clung to her daddy and cried so we couldn't get any decent pictures. This is what we came up with...
