NAME?

We've finally decided on a name and I have made it official by returning to the Hospital to finish filling out the hospital birth certificate filing papers. And the name we decided on was...Drum roll...

ISAAC THOMAS DICKINSON!

Thanks for all the suggestions! We had some great ones and some interesting ones too!

ITS A GIR.... WHAAAT!!!???

Why did the nurse put the pink hat away and quickly pull out a blue one?? Our new little boy better learn to like PINK! We are proud to announce that "baby" Dickinson was born at 8:53 on April 24th 2009 and boy did he give us an april fools. He was 8 pounds 2 ounces and 19 inchs long and Mommy and baby are doing Great! Dad is a little tired though.(I got to catch the baby and all) IT WAS AWESOME! I saw the baby before mommy did and smiled and looked up, with a face that explained the surprise. Without a word I nodded yes and Sarah nodded No, then she said "nuh-uh no it's not". Can you believe that my own wife wouldn't believe me!!!? She didnt even believe it when the nurses were nodding yes. HAHAHA. But she and I both are very happy with our wonderful little boy (that likes pink)!!!

So the name... Well he was going to be named Grace after his great great grandmother who just past away within the last 2 weeks. SOoooooooo..... Let us know what the BOY name should be. Any suggestions?

Can you tell who's who?

My mom brought up some clothes for Zora that she's been saving all these years. This outfit was originally what I wore. Can you guess which one is me? Zora? Do we look at all alike? (Sorry about the blurry picture.)

It's pretty obvious, but I'm (Sarah) the first picture and Zora's the second picture!

Zora's Easter Egg Hunt

Zora had a lot of fun finding Easter Eggs. We did the hunt early because we wanted it to be separate from the actual Easter Sunday.

Portland Zoo

Also in Oregon, we went with some of Zora's cousins to the zoo along with Zora's aunt Sherry and her friend.
This was the petting zoo.

This was our safari. Zora liked the zebras.

The best part was at the end. We went into an enclosed area with tons of birds flying around. We bought some nectar for a dollar and the birds came and landed on our arms to drink out of the cup. Zora loved this, but the birds kept splashing her with nectar!

OMSI

During John's Spring Break, we went to Oregon to visit family and we took Zora to OMSI (Portland's museum). Here's a few pics. First we went throught the Da Vinci exhibit:

Then we took Zora to the kid's museum where she played in water.
Then we took her over to the sand section. We didn't plan very well! Water and sand sure make a mess.
She loved the big goldfish more than anything else.
This is a tower she and John built together. She couldn't reach much higher.
