To start off the day, John and I surprised Zora by going into her room and singing “Happy Birthday” to her. She was a little overwhelmed, but she enjoyed the attention. Then she opened some presents before John left. After John got home, Zora finished opening her gifts. She got clothes, books, and a toy mobile phone that she couldn’t put down. After gifts she had help blowing out her candle and she loved eating cake for the 1st time, but we didn’t because it was a nutritious cake. John resorted to ice cream. To end the day, Zora danced around the room while John played “Yankee Doodle” on the piano.Zora and her presents!

Hi Sarah! It's Tara (Martin) Carr. What a cute girl you have. She is so darling!!!! And you look beautiful too. I noticed that your husband is going to an osteopathic medical school. My husband graduated from KCOM (actually I think they call it A.T. Still University now) a little over a year ago. He finished his internship year in June and started his orthopedic surgery residency in July. Where are you guys living? Does your husband know what he wants to do? E-mail me I'd love to chat and catch up. You have such a cute little family. We also have a blog but it's private. So once I have your e-mail address I'll send you an invite. My e-mail is t_martin99 [at] hotmail [dot] com. Sorry I just wrote you a book. :)
Zora, your are so sweet. We are so hapy that we got to see you.
Gr and Gr.
WOW! A Year! Happy Happy birthday!
Yay! Happy Birthday Zora!
The video was so cute. I like how she kept hesitating to touch the cake, but when she got going, there was no stopping her.
